SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS/WORKSHOPS
AUDIENCE OF LESS THAN 50
- The room should be set up exclusively for interpersonal interactions with members of the audience. The chairs, tables and/or desks should be situated in a "study group" setting. (Preferably circled or half-circled).
- Because of the close quartering proper ventilation is necessary.
- No audio equipment is required for this setting. However, presenter reserves the option of using a dry eraser board, easel or multimedia projector.
- A rostrum is not necessary.
AUDIENCE OF MORE THAN 50
- The most feasible set up in this instance is the "auditorium" setting. This is applicable in an actual auditorium, gallery, conference room or gymnasium. A rostrum is required in this setting. Seating should be equal on both sides of the rostrum with audience members facing presenter who is out front and center.
- An appropriate audio system is required with a removable microphone for walking and audience interaction.
- The audio system should be checked for proper volume/noise reduction prior to the presenter's arrival. (Presenter can provide his own wireless PA system with auxillary inputs/outputs for the vendor's audio system)
- Adequate lighting is required in the area of the speaker for digital videoing purposes.
HIGH SCHOOL CONFLICT RESOLUTION COURSES
- No more than thrity (30) students are allowed to partake in the anger management course at a time. The seating is arranged in an unbroken circle. All students are required to use the bathroom, make phone calls, eat, drink and tend to personal affairs prior to presenter's arrival. Prior to concluding the course for the day, the original seating arrangement will be reestablished.
DIETARY RESTRICTIONS
- No red meat or pork of any kind.
- Only chicken, turkey or fish (white or whiting)
- No salt or sugar
- Only bottled natural spring water (no minerals)
- No alcoholic beverages of any kind.
