As a teenager entering the prison system I fully understood that such a consequence and experience implied and conveyed an opportunity of ultimate learning. From the onset I was resolved to develop self especially in the most critical areas. Since words are renown for changing the direction of history, I knew that they were also strong enough to effectuate a change in the direction of my life. My initial goal was to read and study 1,000 books before being released from prison. Well, after 11 years I didn't read that many. I READ MORE! My final count just a week before being released was 1,310 books! It's amazing what you can do when you affix your mind to it. Below, I share with you a few of the many books that stood out astoundingly. It is my hopes that if you indulge yourself in any of these readings you will experience understanding, enlightment, inspiration, and the spark that leads to direction. Enjoy!
